Eating out in the Lake District

Find happiness in simple things such as good food with good company

For many of us, food plays an important role in our holidays. Whether you’re looking for an opportunity to experience locally sourced products, a cosy café with temptingly good cakes and coffee to match, or perhaps a traditional afternoon tea, you’ll find it all here.

Ravenglass

The Turntable Café is located on platform one of Ravenglass station and is the perfect place to pick up ice creams, drinks, and snacks including delicious pies. Dogs are welcome on the lower floor. There's inside seating as well as covered outdoor seating on the platform.
